An experienced team of business leaders, entrepreneurs and successful professionals from various industries – all with deep ties to The Ohio State University – are leading the charge for The 1870 Society.

Aidin Aghamiri

As founder and operator, Aidin built a groundbreaking, tech-enabled global IT and datacenter services company at scale, achieved outsized results across economic, environmental and social platforms and skyrocketed enterprise value to ~$1B, before selling the business to a public company in December of 2021. Aidin considers himself a serial entrepreneur, with a passion to tackle complicated challenges, build scalable and efficient organizations from the ground up, and accomplish sustained and significant impact.

Aidin earned his degree in finance from the Ohio State University’s Fisher School of Business and his MBA from Duke. Today, Aidin serves on multiple boards and advises companies from startups to mature businesses, and across different industries such as blockchain, datacenter, AI, and sustainability.

Jason Priestas

Prior to founding Eleven Warriors, a massively popular sports media website focused on Ohio State athletics, Jason held technology leadership roles at several startups and Fortune 100 businesses.

In 2006, Jason founded Eleven Warriors with the goal of creating the go-to destination for in-depth coverage and analysis of Ohio State football, basketball, and other sports. Under Priestas' leadership, Eleven Warriors has grown into the largest team site on the internet, with visits from 3.5 million fans each month. In 2008, Jason founded Eleven Warriors Dry Goods, the apparel and merchandise arm of Eleven Warriors, delighting Buckeye fans with smart gear that captures their pride in the program.

Mark Stetson

A double Buckeye Graduate (a B.A. in 2009, and an MBA in 2014), Mark has spent the entirety of his career in Healthcare Technology

In 2017, Mark founded a Health-Tech startup created to help employers, health plans and their members save on prescription costs. As Founder, President and Chairman, Mark led the venture from concept, to seed stage funding, to market entry and scale, and ultimately acquisition in July of 2021. Today, Mark serves as President of Buckeye Acquisition LLC, in addition to serving on several Boards.
