Synchronized Swimming

The 1870 Society is proud to sponsor Ohio State University Athletics and support the Synchronized Swimming program in the first for-profit Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) collective supporting Ohio State athletes. The organization was founded by a group of passionate, and experienced operators who are committed to helping Ohio State student-athletes navigate this complex and evolving world of NIL.

With 34 overall team national championships, 109 individual routine national champions, and 310 All-Americans, the Ohio State Synchronized Swimming Program is unparalleled in the United States, standing as the nation's preeminent team.

First competing as a varsity program in the 1976 season, Buckeye Synchronized Swimming has produced 20 Olympians and has seen 10 of its athletes inducted into the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame. And it's a program with a history of sustained excellence, capturing 13 of the first 14 team championships for the sport as well as 10 of the last 15.
